The FreeBSD Foundation is kicking off our End-of-Year Fund Raising Drive! Your financial support is critical for the FreeBSD Project. Please help us keep FreeBSD free. Click here to donate (any amount will help). And thank you for your continued support of the FreeBSD Foundation.

Congratulations to Marshall Kirk McKusick, who was the highest bidder at our auction for the first copy of the book, Absolute FreeBSD by Michael Lucas. The winning bid was $600, and the foundation was pleased to receive the full amount towards our fundraising efforts. The book was generously donated by Michael Lucas and No Starch Press. We’d like to thank Kirk and all the people out there who bid on the book and helped with the auction. This was a very exciting event to kick off our Fall Fund-Raising Campaign!

Join the foundation’s mailing list to keep up-to-date with our news. We plan on sending quarterly updates on topics like fundraising efforts, project status, and grant information.
